Timeline & Cost

The timeline will vary depending on your treatment plan. Following your initial visit, here are the average timelines for each procedure:

  • Egg Retrieval using your Own Egg & Embryo Creation—1 to 2 months
  • Egg Retrieval using an Egg Donor & Embryo Creation—2 to 3 months
  • Embryo Transfer—4 to 6 weeks following an Egg Retrieval. This can also be scheduled at the convenience of the patient.

The cost of fertility treatment such as IVF usually represents a significant financial investment, and many families are concerned about how to finance their treatment.

Costs of treatment will vary based on your treatment plan. We have provided the following estimates, based on packages we currently offer to patients:

  • Egg Retrieval, Embryo Creation, and Storage I $20,000 to $25,000 USD
  • Egg Retrieval, Embryo Creation, and Storage with an Egg Donor I $30,000 to $33,000 USD
  • Egg Retrieval with Egg Donor and Surrogate Transfer I $34,000 to $39,000 USD

The costs are given in ranges, as there are optional services that may be recommended by your physician. Optional services commonly include the following:

  • Embryo Testing: The preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) procedure allows the screening of embryos for specific genetic traits before an embryo is implanted in a patient’s uterus.
  • EmbryoScope®: Embryologists use the EmbryoScope as a tool for the selection of the most optimal embryos, by analyzing greater than 5,000 images for each embryo. Its use enables > 25% increase in pregnancy rate and > 40% increase in live birth rate.
  • ICSI: Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is a powerful assisted reproductive technology (ART) used in cases of male infertility.
  • ZyMōt® Chip: Processing that allows for more optimal normal sperm to be selected, decreasing abnormal sperm and DNA fragmentation.

We encourage our patients to meet with a financial counselor at our center, or set up a conference call to discuss the costs in further detail.
