FAQ

Does the clinic have experience serving the needs of international patients?

At SCRC, we work with international patients on a daily basis. We want you to have a stress-free experience so that you can concentrate on your treatment and even enjoy a relaxing vacation at the same time. We have been honored to welcome many patients to SCRC from all over the world, including China, Singapore, Canada, UK, Brazil, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. We look forward to helping many more international patients achieve their dream of bringing home a healthy baby.

Can I schedule a consultation via phone or video chat?

Yes! We understand you may want to talk with your physician before traveling to visit us. Our coordinators can assist in scheduling a phone or video consultation for you.

How long do I need to be in Los Angeles for treatment?

For many of our patients using an egg donor and surrogate, we only need to see you in office for one visit. For patients who are undergoing an egg retrieval and transfer themselves, we estimate you will need to be here for 15 to 20 days.

Who coordinates our cycle to ensure we continue to move forward?

You will be assigned a clinical coordinator for your cycle who will update you throughout the process.

Does the clinic use the latest research and technology?

SCRC offers patients the finest biomedical technology available in the field of reproductive medicine. Our on-site ART laboratory is equipped with cutting-edge equipment, staffed by world-class embryologists and technicians, and operated according to the highest standards. Our award-winning physicians are practicing at the top of their field; they are renowned specialists who hold multiple board certifications, regularly contribute to original research, present to their peers, are involved in teaching and mentoring the next generation of fertility doctors, and are deeply committed to educating their patients about all of the options available to them.

What are SCRC’s success rates?

Through the work of our physicians and on-site lab, we are proud to have higher pregnancy rates vs the national average as well as live birth rates that are 3x the national average in women over 40 years old. See SART Success Rate info.
